Hi! I graduated with a doctoral degree in Economics from the University of Houston in August 2022. My research interests are in the fields of Labor Economics, Public Economics and Applied Econometrics.

In my job market paper, I estimate migration and remittance decisions simultaneously using a structural model of the interrelated nature of these choices. I show that utility from remittances, along with expected wages, drive migration and remittance choice for multi-member households and establish the key role played by remittances in migration decisions.
